Only 10 more days until my 6 month Surgiversary and I am at 99 pounds lost since surgery 136 pounds lost since January 2013. It has been a crazy last couple of weeks. I started boot camp class, pilates and Rebecca and Ed got married.
For some reason I have overcommitted myself once again this fall. Last spring I had decided that I would make sure that I would say no to people when they asked me to volunteer but once again when people asked I said yes. It is hard for me to say no to people but I have to practice. This week I have 3 things scheduled on my phone for the same time. I am not sure how I am able to do everything but I am going to have to figure it out. Too bad we cannot live without sleep.
In other news my cat is growing like a weed and really likes to bite and climb and anything. I have to train her not to bite as much. My mom laughs and says that's what cats do but since I have never owned a cat before I never knew that. Oh well I guess I just have to google how to teach her to stop biting. I am always on Google trying to figure these things out.

Week 22
Only 4 more weeks until it has been half a year since my surgery. Time flies when you are busy.
When I was talking to my Mom yesterday I realized that this year has been a busy year for me. I bought a house, became cancer free, had my gastric bypass surgery and got my cat. When I had my birthday last year I could not even dream of all of this stuff happening. I actually never even thought of buying my place then. And then the week after I bought my place. I can be quite spontaneous and so on Thursday I was looking at places kind of dreaming about what I wanted and on the Saturday I placed a offer on the house.
So as of today I have lost 133 pounds. Which is a crazy amount of weight. I also started back at the gym 5 or 6 days a week and I am sure feeling it.

Week 21 and 5 Months
Last week I went to Ontario on a plane and I never had time to blog. It was a refreshing change to be able to go onto a airplane and not need a seatbelt extender.
Yvonne and I drove from Thunder Bay to Edmonton in a couple days for Yvonne's final year at school.
This week I also got a pet cat. I have never had a cat that lives inside my house before but so far it is going pretty well. It is a huge change for me because now I have someone to come home too. My cat Sasha.
So I am now 5 months out of surgery. I have lost 91 pounds since my surgery and 128 pounds total.
